Personal Description:
I have a Masters of biotechnology from the University of Guelph and an honours degree in biology from Queen's University. I enjoy helping younger kids develop a passion for science!
Tutoring Experience:
Reading buddy for 6-8 year olds at my public library, also a junior coach for under 10 and under 12 soccer players. I took French immersion for 3 years and have some French tutoring experience
Tutoring Approach:
Break each concept into manageable chunks so that the student will not be overwhelmed. I utilize visuals to complement written notes as it provides better memory recall. Cue cards are also a personal favourite.
