Personal Description:

I have a great deal of experience as a math tutor and I am really passionate about teaching. I love to tutor students who are in need of academic support in my free time. I think the key to being a great tutor is having patience and being friendly because this makes learning more enjoyable for students.

Tutoring Experience:

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering in December 2012. I have years of experience tutoring students at the elementary school, high school, and college levels. I have helped elementary school students prepare for math competitions, helped students work through advanced math problems, and tutored students in geometry and algebra. I also have experience working as a university teaching assistant for two engineering classes, helping students with their lab setup, answering any questions they had, as well as helping them with creative engineering projects to help them ease into college.

Tutoring Approach:

I try my best to make learning enjoyable for my students and adapt my teaching to their learning styles. I think that patience is essential within any educational context.
