I believe that the secret to being an effective educator is listening to your student's needs and adapting accordingly. I always begin by verifying my student's goals so that I can help reach for them. I also strive to create a positive learning environment so students feel comfortable making mistakes in the name of progress. Most importantly, I do not give students the answer but point them in the right direction, ensuring that they play an active role in the educational process. If you need help conjugating verbs or pronouncing accent marks, I'm ready to assist!

I'm a writer and MFA graduate. I hold a bachelor's degree in Journalism and a master's degree in Creative Writing.
