Personal Description:

Hey! I’m a PhD student and also Research Assistant in the University of Waterloo.

Passionate about giving young children the best possible education in life, and enjoys working in a busy environment and relishes the challenge of managing a diverse workload. Committed to safeguarding and promoting the education and well-being of young people at all times.

With my teaching experience, I have found various methods for facilitating rather than dictating to be a highly beneficial style of teaching. I have learned that if students construct their own learning experiences, they will not only retain information longer, but they will become more confident in their abilities. I love working with students and always strive to be a positive influence in their lives.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 7 years old experience as a Chemistry Tutor in high school, college and university level.

In 2012, I won bronze medal in international Chemistry Olympiad in Washington, US.

Tutoring Approach:

Lecture Discussion
Online, One on one and Group Teaching
Emphasis on clearing concepts and building strong foundations
Problem solving skills
