Personal Description:

*I'm the co-founder of an educational start-up **Removed By Admin** that was funded $1 million to create video lessons online (we have delivered millions of lessons, sustaining a satisfaction rate of about 98%)
*3 Years at YorkU Psych Bachelors => Research Assistant experience at the Social Cognition Lab => Startup Founder of an Ed-tech Firm => Pursuing Math Major and helping students to find their confidence through mastery

Tutoring Experience:

I've tutored for over 10 years now. I've taught both 1-on-1 extensively and I've also instructed classes of 10 students. I've helped students to change their grades from 50's to 90's, and I've also helped students to further their already good grades from their 80's and 90's into the high 90's. I've had many students who went from hating math (and doing very poorly in their courses) to absolutely loving it, and realizing that math is their average booster. I'm particularly good at explaining Calculus and Advanced Functions, and most importantly, I can help you to identify the exact points where your previous knowledge from grade 9,10,11 was not qui**Contact Detail Removed**arned well enough.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that a tutor must have mastery over their math material, care and empathy for the student, passion for the subject, and sufficient experience to be able to truly diagnose each and every indicator of weakness. True concept mastery comes from being able to do these things while having the energy to give the lesson 100% of your effort down to the last minute of the lesson. This is something I truly believe in, and so far, I've yet to meet a student who hasn't met me half-way when I've given all of my effort to not only teach the concepts but to help the student to appreciate the concept as well.
