Personal Description:

I'm interested in several different subjects, including physics, mathematics, and computer science. I'm particularly interested in helping students with the quantitative aspects of physics, including calculus, multivariate calculus, and differential calculus, though I'm also willing to teach algebra to students in more introductory courses.

Tutoring Experience:

I've been a volunteer docent at a history museum, explaining dioramas to students and other visitors while demonstrating how concepts such as buoyancy work. I also helped my friends and colleagues with their schoolwork, so I'm comfortable tutoring in both 1-on-1 and group settings. I refined my communication skills as a student caller, so I'm confident connecting with all types of people.

Tutoring Approach:

Every student learns differently, and I need to listen to them so that I can approach my work as a physics tutor appropriately. For example, some students might grasp concepts just by examining the theories behind them, while others need to work on applied problems for the material to sink in.
