Personal Description:

I have tutored maths for about 20 years, ranging from lower secondary to Advanced level. My bachelor's degree was in Electrical Engineering and I hold a masters degree in Applied Instrumentation and Control. I have also done research on microscale sensor technology in the past.
My career has been a mix of teaching and engineering operations. Hence, I can relate most mathematical principles with real-life applications, especially in the industry.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored elementary math, high school math, engineering math, and engineering science in the last 20 years. In the last three years, most of my tutoring sessions have been online. However, I am open to one-to-one sessions as well.

Tutoring Approach:

My online tutoring sessions are seamless, compared with face-to-face tutoring. I use e-books, which students are familiar with and engage my students throughout the session. My classes are very interactive and would require the students to work on some questions during the session. This tests the knowledge of the student concurrently with the progress of the session.
