Personal Description:

I have a passion for the subjects I tutor, which center around biology and life sciences. I've been working in education since I was in my master's program. As a biology tutor, I enjoy helping my students actually comprehend the material we study. This helps them achieve the success they desire.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in General Biology, with a specialization in Ecology. I went on to earn my master's degree in Religious Studies. My educational experience has been as a graduate assistant, an adjunct professor, a professional tutor, and a middle school and elementary teacher.

Tutoring Approach:

My tutoring strategies center on sparking a love of learning in the students I work with. Once they are eager to learn, the understanding falls naturally into place. When I first meet with a new student, I like to get to know their interests as well as understand where they are struggling in the topic so I know where to start with them.
