Personal Description:

I'm a friendly and personable biology tutor who is highly educated in the life sciences. I have a great deal of patience and my talent lies in explaining any concept, no matter how complex, to others in a way that makes it easy for them to understand. I'm available to tutor students from elementary age to high school.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Biology and went on to earn my master's degree in the Biological Sciences. I have been a Teaching Assistant for both undergraduate and gradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel courses. I have worked with students one-on-one and in small groups. As a biology tutor, I can tutor students in biology, ecology, genetics, immunology, pathology, and other life sciences.

Tutoring Approach:

To me, it's important to explain why things are the way they are, not just explain what the facts are. I begin tutoring sessions by introducing myself and getting to know my student. We work together better by having a little time to be friendly. I then discover where the student is struggling so I know where to start building their personalized tutoring plan.
