Personal Description:

I'm a Music Therapy student that will be graduating this year with a Bachelor's. In my years in post-secondary, I've achieved an overall cumulative GPA of 3.8. I also have a Music Diploma from Capilano University. I have fluency in both English and French and graduated from a French Immersion school with honours. Proficient knowledge of essay-writing and study skills needed to succeed in Canadian schools.

Tutoring Experience:

I've had 4 years of professional experience as a Tech Camp Leader and Tech Tutor for children, supporting computer literacy skills and the use of a variety of software. I have also professionally tutored clients in French. I teach voice, piano, and theory lessons to children in elementary school to high school. I have experience working with neurodiverse children as an access support worker in the educational system as well.

Tutoring Approach:

I approach tutoring in a collaborative way that supports my clients while also challenging them. I help my clients identify and follow through on specific goals and objectives that would maximize learning. In a session, we'll often use examples and interactive activities, while also having structure provided through supplementary materials. That way, you can be present with me in a session and have the main points of our session in an organized format.
