Personal Description:

I am a 19-year-old student from Ontario. I completed my High School diploma in 2019 and was my class valedictorian and planner for my graduation prom dance. I pride myself on not only completing assignments but understanding the concepts and theories. My hobbies include watching Grey's Anatomy and spending time at my family cottage. I am very patient and have a good understanding of theories included in High School courses.

Tutoring Experience:

When in High School, I was a peer tutor, helping students in younger grades or classes than myself. This was volunteer work. I have also helped my brother who is in grade 11 with his schoolwork many times. I have also coached gymnastics to all age groups, and while unrelated, it has taught me teaching and people skills.

Tutoring Approach:

I would approach tutoring with an open mind, first, having a full understanding of the course load my student is learning. Next, I will go through these concepts with the student and narrow down areas of confusion. I would then like to approach these concepts in a fresh way, allowing the student to see the lesson in a way different than explained by their teacher. After explaining the workload to the student I will complete practice questions or scenarios In order to confirm a good understanding of the material.
