Tutoring Approach:
I employ an individualized, iterative, stress-free approach when working with students. During our first session, I will have a conversation with the student to get to know their learning style. I will also administer a diagnostic assessment in order to gauge their achievement level in a given subject. Once gaps are identified, I will work on practice problems to close those gaps and ultimately help the student reach their academic potential. As often as possible, I will do this by working through the student's assigned homework so that they are prepared for their next class.
