Personal Description:

Hi, I'm Matias! I'm a Masters student in Space Science and Technology. I grew up in Montreal, Canada, where I completed a Bachelors in Physics with a Minor in Theatre. I am fascinated by science (especially physics and space-related things) and the arts (particularly literature and the performing arts).

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience tutoring high-school level physics, chemistry, and math. I also tutored the same subjects at a CEGEP-level (a kind of pre-college system they have in Quebec, roughly equivalent to first year university/6th year high school in other locations), mostly focusing on Calculus I, Calculus II, and Linear Algebra.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to make the tutoring process a constant collaboration. At the end of each session, I ask my student what worked and what didn't, if there's an approach they don't like or they prefer, etc. Each tutor-student relationship is unique, and in order to make the best of it, communication is key.
