Personal Description:

I am passionate about learning languages because of the doors they can open and how it improves communication in every area of life. I particularly enjoy tutoring and teaching Italian, my first language. In addition to tutoring all levels of Italian, I also tutor individuals who are interested in improving their conversational Italian.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned both my undergraduate degree in economics and politics and my graduate degree in international relations. My post-graduate studies were focused on secondary education and languages which has given me pedagogical knowledge to support my personal experiences in learning and speaking new languages that I bring to each session as an Italian tutor.

Tutoring Approach:

I incorporate visual and kinesthetic learning opportunities in sessions to give students variety and maintain engagement while also providing a challenge that will facilitate linguistic growth. However, I recognize that students each learn differently and my main instructional focus will always be on providing information in a way that is best suited for the student.
