Personal Description:

I have worked as an Educator for more than 30 years and tutoring and teaching for more than 7 years. My experiences are teaching learners who have difficulty in subjects such as Math (Numeracy), English (Literacy), Italian, and ESL. My strategies are to work with the learner one-on-one and/or in small groups. I am educated as a Child and Youth Worker, Educational Studies, and Adult Education and training in Teaching as a Second Language (TESL-OCELT). I have a wide range of experience in teaching learners of all ages including adults. Teaching is something that comes naturally to me. Enhancing learners' academics, and social skills, studying skills, teaching Italian, or teaching English as a Second Language is what I was trained to do. My goal as an educator is to help learners succeed.

Tutoring Experience:

I tutor Math, English, and other subjects. I have a variety of resources to help in these subjects such as IXL, Spectrum, Scholastic, and many others. As an Educator, I encourage learning and teach learners to want to learn. I have varied experience working with many different age groups, and characters, learning the strengths in subjects in English, Math, Italian, and English as a Second Language.

Tutoring Italian grammar and vocabulary for communication has been successful since it is my mother tongue. Tutoring English as a Second Language grammatically and vocabulary for communication for social, and developing education in work-related areas are areas that I have experience in. My supportive skills are to teach learners with homework. Teaching has been a passion for me. Online tutoring is available.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach is tutoring one-on-one or in small groups with the curriculum provided- Math, English, Italian, or ESL. Homework support will be a one-on-one approach to provide the necessary curriculum measures for the subject. I will work together with the learner to the best of my ability to make it all possible for the learner to be successful in their subjects. I am flexible to hear the best approach to help you succeed. In-person and online tutoring is available using Google Classroom, Google Meets, and Zoom.
