Personal Description:

I have dedicated over 35 years to working as an educator, with more than 7 years of experience in tutoring and teaching. My passion lies in helping learners overcome challenges in subjects like Math (Numeracy), English (Literacy), Italian, and English as a Second Language (ESL). I specialize in creating personalized learning experiences, working one-on-one or with small groups to meet the unique needs of each student.

With a background in Child and Youth Work, Educational Studies, Adult Education, and certification in Teaching as a Second Language (TESL-OCELT), I hold an Ontario Certificate for Teachers (OCT). My diverse teaching experience spans all age groups, including adults, and reflects my deep commitment to supporting academic success, social development, and study skills.

Teaching comes naturally, and I find joy in helping learners thrive. Whether it's enhancing their academic performance, fostering social and study skills, or teaching Italian and ESL, I am dedicated to guiding students toward success. I aim to empower learners with the tools and confidence they need to achieve their fullest potential.

Tutoring Experience:

As an Educator, I encourage learning and teach learners to want to learn. I have varied experience working with many different age groups, and characters, learning the strengths in subjects in English, Math, Italian, and English as a Second Language. I am in the classroom during the day, so I am aware of where children are struggling.

Tutoring Italian grammar and vocabulary for communication has been successful since it is my mother tongue. Tutoring English as a Second Language grammatically and vocabulary for communication for social, and developing education in work-related areas are areas that I have experience in. My supportive skills are to teach learners with homework. Teaching has been a passion for me. Online tutoring is available.

I work closely with each learner, fostering a collaborative relationship to help them achieve success in their subjects. I’m also flexible and open to exploring strategies that work best for you or your child, creating a pathway to academic growth and success.
