Personal Description:

My name is Marc and I am a biology tutor. Building off my passion as a lifelong learner, I continue to develop my approach as a teacher so I can be of help to others. I scored an 11 on my MCAT Biological Sciences exam and am eager to share what I know.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in theatre fand a master's degree in biomedical studies. I'm currently a medical student helping students as a biology tutor in my spare time. Working with students one-on-one and building lessons that cater to their interests, goals, and learning style is rewarding.

Tutoring Approach:

There's no harm in re-explaining a topic as many times as needed. I will include different examples and pick new strategies if a student struggles to understand a topic or concept. Along the way, I frequently check what the student is learning to decide to continue explaining or move forward.
