Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Loïc and I am a junior Mechanical Engineer. Tutoring is a passion for me. I strongly believe any student can learn and get good grades in any subject, if they are taught the right way, and are accompanied in their journey.

Tutoring Experience:

1) Tutored an adult of about 40 years old how to read english. Tutoring was twice or thrice every week at the student's house. This was done for 3 months. The student's progress was impressive. (Volunteering experience)

2) Tutored statistics course (university level) to a friend in their 20s. Tutoring was done thrice a week, online. This lasted one semester. The student passed their exam with a high B, and was very satisfied. (Volunteering experience)

3) Teaching friends in high school and university.

Tutoring Approach:

-Make sure the students have a good time when studying, and enjoy the learning sessions.
-Ensure the students understand fully the concept of what is being taught. Patience and kindness are key factors. Every student is different; once the students' learning approach has been determined, it is only a matter of time until the students succeed.
-"Practice makes perfect." Teaching should always be followed with lots of examples and practice questions.
-Ensure the students understand how what they study applies in the real world. It is vital for students to understand the bigger picture and how they can use what they are taught to tackle real life problems.
-I am results-driven. Count on me for scoring good grades; every student can.
