Information About Lisa
Richmond Hill tutorPersonal Description:
I am an AP student at Richmond Hill High School and have been tutoring for around 2 years. I am genuinely excited when working as a tutor and seeing students improve, and I try my hardest to make my students feel comfortable and confident in their abilities. I believe that character development is also an important factor in my lessons as well!
Academic-wise, I am well-versed with several subjects and the subjects I am very comfortable tutoring (in order of greatest comfort to least) include: French, Math, English and Science. I am also comfortable prepping students for the Psychology and Economics AP Exams! If you have any other courses you would like me to tutor, let me know and I will see if I am able to do so. Below are some of my grades from previous years:
Grade 12 Advanced Functions: 99
Grade 12 AP Psychology: 98 (5 on AP Exam)
Grade 12 AP Economics: 98 (5 on AP Exam)
Grade 12 AP World issues: 98
Grade 12 Data Management and Statistics: 97
Grade 12 French: 96
Grade 12 Biology: 95
Grade 11 Biology: 98
Grade 11 French: 99

Grade 11 English: 93
Tutoring Experience:
I have experience working with children of different ages (from grade 1 to grade 11), and have gained valuable experience through volunteering with the Richmond Hill Central Library's tutoring program. I have also volunteered as a peer tutor in my high school throughout the past 4 years in French and Math.
Tutoring Approach:
I cater to my students as best as possible and will adapt to their learning styles. I also believe that strong organizational and time management skills are important and would incorporate that into my lessons.
