Personal Description:

I enjoy helping students to think and learn independently, as well as helping them see and explore how science works. I think that positivity is key to students' learning. I am a biology tutor offering interested students academic assistance on a range of subjects at a variety of levels, from elementary school science and high school biology to anatomy and physiology. Whether you are a middle school or college student, whether you need help with your laboratory skills or your coursework for zoology, I can assist.

Tutoring Experience:

I completed my undergraduate education in 2009 and obtained a bachelor's degree specializing in Animal and Poultry Science. I am currently pursuing an accelerated registered nursing program. I have worked as a scientist in the fields of Pharmacology and In Vitro Science for the last 8 years. I have experience tutoring AP and high school-level biology and have worked with students with learning disabilities such as Dyslexia.

Tutoring Approach:

I am a firm believer in assisting students to properly grasp and master a concept rather than relying solely on rote memorization. I also think it is important to create a positive and reassuring environment for learning.
