Personal Description:

I have decades of experience tutoring English. As an English tutor, I consider myself a professional explainer. I am great at helping students understand complex concepts. My goal as a tutor is to equip my students with the analytical and intellectual tools to be successful now and in their future courses. I feel great when I see my students grow and learn to think independently.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in communication. In addition to tutoring English, I worked as a publishing professional. I also taught general science at a local middles school. I can help students with any level of English, from the basics to college-level.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that a good teacher and tutor help their students learn critical thinking and analytical skills along with the material they are learning. Therefore, I do my best to make mundane subjects interesting for my students.
