Personal Description:

I am a mechanical engineer with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Toronto.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored a handful of secondary school students to help them improve their grades in math. They wanted to go to a university in Canada and needed better math grades in algebra, functions & relations and calculus.

Tutoring Approach:

I ask the student a number of questions to determine their understanding of the subject they are interested in learning more about. Based on their knowledge of the subject I introduce basic terms and concepts making sure that they are understood. I like to use analogies comparing the particular term or concept being discussed with something they already know.
