Personal Description:

I am a biology tutor for high school and university students. I've advocated for the growth and advancement of STEM education since I began my undergraduate studies. I believe one of the best ways to do this is for students to receive high quality academic assistance outside of the classroom with private tutoring.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in molecular and cell biology and I am pursuing my Ph.D. in cancer biology and genetics. I've won numerous awards for scientific research and academic excellence and I've tutored high school and undergraduate students in subjects ranging from general biology to cancer biology.

Tutoring Approach:

I endeavor to maximize the strengths of my students while targeting their academic weaknesses. I do this in part by teaching effective study habits that can play a significant role in academic improvement. When introducing or reviewing complicated topics I try to simplify them and provide real-life examples and analogies to make them easier to understand.
