Personal Description:

I make an excellent learning disabilities tutor because I have the background and experience in education and special education that is necessary for tutoring students with learning differences. My strengths as a tutor include my ability to adjust my tutoring to match each child's needs and my passion for teaching children of all ages.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education. I went on from there to earn my master's degree in School Counseling. I can tutor students ages K-12 in all the basic subjects including Math, Reading, and Writing. I am a learning disabilities tutor with more than 20 years of classroom experience and 7 years of tutoring.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that every student can learn something. Each student is unique and ought to be encouraged to learn and achieve at their own pace and in their own way. In my first session with a new student, I like to learn their likes, dislikes, and interests so I can be more successful at helping them reach their goals.
