Personal Description:

As a music tutor, I work with students of all ages and musical ability in a wide array of courses such as music theory. I believe that once a student understands the foundational concepts at the core of what they're learning, they can then expand that knowledge to achieve their learning goals.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree and I am currently pursuing my doctorate. I am currently a teacher and tutor and I love working with students. I've played the violin for more than ten years and I am constantly amazed at the important role music can play in a student's education.

Tutoring Approach:

After getting to know a student, I like to set up a goal plan and schedule so that lessons can be broken down into segments and our instructional time can be as efficient as possible. I work with students to show them step-by-step how to complete a process and ensure they truly understand before moving on to the next topic.
