Personal Description:

I am in my first year of my career in my desired industry, marketing. I am a hard working individual driven to succeed. I put myself through university by owning a business, having multiple part time jobs, and seeking out co-op opportunities.

Tutoring Experience:

Throughout the past 5 years, I have offered my tutoring services to local high school students, friends, and family to help improve their writing abilities and study techniques.

As a business owner, I am constantly managing employees in ways that motivate and encourage strong work ethics.

In my current role, I mentor our co-op students to teach them the ins and outs of investment communications while also improving their overall writing skills.

Tutoring Approach:

I see mistakes as what they are. A mistake is simply a mistake. It’s what you choose to do with said mistake that makes the difference.
As a tutor, I look to motivate my students to want to succeed by showing the value of hard work. Teaching healthy study habits is easier said than done. Every person learns differently and I always strive to understand the needs of each student to be able to adapt my teaching styles to suit each student.
I will not only help improve my students current grades, but teach them skills on how to be able to edit their own writing and be able to acknowledge when their work may not be their best.
