Personal Description:

My name is Kevin and I can teach you all about biology and the life sciences. Being a biology tutor reinforces my passion for both helping students try to improve their grades and understand the world around them. In covering the material, I guide the student in understanding its fundamental concepts and why it applies to their own life.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics and am currently a graduate student studying radiochemistry. I've studied mathematics and environmental science so can apply a variety of concepts to topics in biology. If you have a passion in these or another personal interest, I can help you relate to the subject matter.

Tutoring Approach:

I vary my teaching strategy for each student. In addition to applying the material to their everyday lives, I'll delve into scientific research to focus on logic. I can also use problem solving to assist the student in practicing critical thinking related to the topic.
