Personal Description:

I am a math tutor because math is frequently one of the subjects that students dread the most. I like the challenge of helping students who hate math come to enjoy it through working with me. I try to explain concepts such as differential equations as simple as possible to promote understanding. I can also help students prepare for math on high-stakes assessments such as the SAT.

Tutoring Experience:

I've been teaching math to middle and high school students for over a decade now, so I know how to relate to their concerns. I studied engineering in school, but I like to say that I'm a teacher at my core.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that self-confidence is the key to unlocking a student's educational potential, so I try to mentor my students and inspire them to reach for their goals. I also try to determine why they are struggling with a given concept so that I can address the issue at its source.
