Personal Description:

I have always had a passion for learning, sparked by the fact that there are so many fascinating things to learn and explore in this world. I enjoy teaching, especially one-on-one, and I love to see my students enjoy learning. I am a biology tutor who can help with anything from lower-level biology to AP and college biology.

Tutoring Experience:

My experience includes earning my undergraduate degree in biology, biochemistry, and neuroscience. After that, I earned my Ph.D. in cell and molecular biology and moved on to complete my postdoctoral work. Since then, I have taken a sabbatical from research and have been focusing on tutoring.

Tutoring Approach:

I often have my students start with the concepts they already know and then add in new concepts and problems in batches so as not to overwhelm them. Breaking the concepts down allows me and my students to interact and engage in the learning process together.
