Personal Description:

I have experience with developing lessons based on each student's needs and learning styles. I am available as an English tutor to work with students in subjects like English grammar and syntax, college English, reading, and writing. I'm available to tutor during the summer months and can also help students with study skills and organization.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Human Development. I have also spent 14 years as an Early Childhood Education Teacher. When I was in college, I earned a distinction for my writing skills and my degree in Early Childhood Education has an endorsement for Child Development.

Tutoring Approach:

I consider us all to be lifelong learners. There's no cookie-cutter method to tutor individual people. Each student learns in their own unique way. I'm calm and accepting as an English tutor, and my approach is based on my student's strengths. I am supportive and creative as I help each student learn a new skill and retain it.
