Personal Description:

Hello! I am in my third year of university at McMaster University. I have done two years in an undergraduate in Life Sciences and am now a nursing student! My Life Sciences degree taught me all areas of science at a university level. My favourite subject is biology! I really love anatomy too! I've always gotten super awesome grades and I love to teach others and help them achieve the same. I went to university with honours and continue to make the Dean's list each year. I really look forward to teaching some of you!

Tutoring Experience:

I started a program at my high school for peer tutoring. I tutored all grades in my last year of high school and I really enjoyed it. When I graduated from high school, I still really wanted to help high school students so I went on to make a peer mentor program for high school seniors. This program connected high school students to university mentors to help them transition out of high school and study effectively for university!

Tutoring Approach:

I like to approach tutoring differently depending on the student I am teaching. I personally learn best when things are shown to me but I know not everyone learns that way. For example, my brother struggles in math because he struggles to see the use of it. When I tutor him, I try to connect what he is learning in class to something he understands. An example of this is teaching him quadratics by connecting it to soccer!
