Personal Description:

I am an English tutor who loves helping children in any way that I possibly can. Watching a student's whole face light up once their understanding of a difficult topic finally clicks for them is what keeps me motivated. I believe that using teaching strategies that match a student's learning abilities is one of the best ways to help a student who is having difficulty.

Tutoring Experience:

Currently, I am pursuing my undergraduate degree. I scored a 32 on the English portion of the ACT. I am experienced with tutoring English to students of all ages ranging from elementary all the way through college. I have enjoyed working with students one-on-one in elementary classrooms.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to being an English tutor is to keep students actively involved in their studies. I help students to build strong foundations for learning by breaking down difficult concepts. This helps guide them to become independent learners.
