Personal Description:

I am an effective mentor who can assist students in a variety of areas, including test prep, reading, and college essays. I encourage students to do the work themselves as I guide them, whether they need an English tutor to help them prepare for their GREs or are struggling to edit their essays for AP US History.

Tutoring Experience:

I hold a Bachelor's in International Relations with minors in Spanish and Creative Writing. I am currently working toward a master's degree in Social Work. I achieved high marks on the SAT and GRE, including an 800 on the SAT Writing and a 4.5 on the GRE Analytical Writing.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that a tutor can help students build systems that can allow them to study independently and effectively. I enjoy building a relationship with my students, which I feel can help them feel more motivated to learn. I strive to help students find intrinsic motivation throughout our English tutoring sessions.
