I am a patient and compassionate economics tutor. I work with students in elementary, middle, and high school. In addition to tutoring students in economics, I also tutor courses in related fields such as math and algebra. I love watching my students gain confidence in themselves as they begin to understand new information.
I am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting from Saint John's University. I've tutored students in a variety of subjects. I am always willing to give each student my best effort and I expect the same from them in return. The greatest achievements are the result of working together as a team.
One of the biggest challenges I see in students is the fear of failure. You can't be afraid of failure because it is an inescapable part of life. Once this is accepted, students are free to do the best they can without worrying about the outcome. Equally important is ownership of one's results. Students must understand that reaching their academic goals will be the direct result of the effort they put in. I try to reinforce both of these throughout our time together as we work through the material in a way that is best for their personal learning style and academic needs.
