Personal Description:

I love the connection between a tutee and a tutor. Helping someone else succeed in a field is one of my most satisfying accomplishments. In my spare time, I love to work on puzzles, read books and browse the internet.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught as one of the primary teaching assistants at the Foreign Language Program in Notre Dame High School at OCSB. I managed elementary classes (consisting of students aged 6-10) as well as advanced classes (consisting of students 16-18). Additionally, I also worked as the main instructor for the winter 2021 intensive SAT class in TECO. I designed the curriculum and instructed a class of 10th-grade students.

Tutoring Approach:

I firmly believe in adjusting teaching styles to students' learning styles. In my opinion, every student is unique and to deliver a quality learning experience the instructor must be able to adjust his/her style to best fit the students. For motivated and outgoing students, I allow autonomous learning and prefer a laissez-faire style of teaching. For others who need a bit more leadership, I prefer a directed-learning approach where I (as the instructor) design and lead them.
