Personal Description:

My name is Ka Po and I was born and raised in London, United Kingdom. I graduated with a BA (hons) in Classical Civilization at Roehampton University. I have lived in Montreal for a few years now and within that year I obtain my 160 hours TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at Canada College Montreal.

Tutoring Experience:

I have four months teaching experience in Wuhan, China. I taught classes to varying ages, from as young as three years old to adults. I taught phonics and Cambridge/IELTs test preparation.

I also have a year experience working in Hong Kong as an English Teacher at an Educational Center. I taught y different classes including grammer, phonics, Cambridge, reading and writing classes etc. I have experience teaching children with special education as well.

I have a few years experience private tutoring in United Kingdom and Hong Kong, kids from as young as four years old to University students and adults.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a fun and positive approach to teaching, making sure my client is fully satisfied. From the first lesson, I will learn to adapt to your child or yourself and work out a schedule and lesson plan to fit your needs. I am adaptable to teaching along side the student's courses, and help them excel and do their best. Great communication is key to my teaching approach!
