Personal Description:

I believe that everyone can write efficiently and effectively with the proper guidance and practice. I am a patient, hard-working English tutor who helps students build a practical set of writing skills. Because of my love for writing, I founded an independent publishing company. I am currently working with a colleague to create an online magazine. I am driven and detail-oriented, two qualities that make a great English tutor.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in English. I have been writing for more than twenty years. In 2007, my poem "Hollow Words" was published in the summer edition of a literary magazine. Later that year, I had a short story win a prestigious prize. I can help students of all ages and skill levels with English topics such as essay editing, grammar, mechanics, and more.

Tutoring Approach:

I am process-oriented. I view all of my students as unique writers with goals to accomplish. My job is to figure those goals out and work with them to develop skills to accomplish those goals.
