Personal Description:

Hi! My name is Jigar and I get a thrill whenever I help somebody else as their chemistry tutor. I love the reaction you get when your pupil finally grasps that concept you've been working on for several sessions. I'm also a patient instructor, so students don't have to think twice before asking me any questions they have. I like working on practice problems separately and then discussing our answers too because it promotes student understanding.

Tutoring Experience:

As a college student, I earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology. I had a variety of great teachers as a student and I'm hoping to put some of their techniques to use as a tutor.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that the secret to education is making learning enjoyable. If students are miserable in the classroom, they won't get anything out of it. Therefore, I use videos, notecards, and even words of encouragement to make learning more exciting.
