Personal Description:

I have mainly tutored in essay writing at the college level. I am an English tutor who enjoys being able to help students break down their writing and hone their skills. I am all about making the sessions work for each individual, and I can easily adapt my teaching methods to accommodate the needs of my students.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Theatre. I scored a 750 on the SAT Verbal. During my time on campus, I worked at the writing center, helping my students improve their writing skills. I tutor in everything from grammar and mechanics to essay writing and test prep.

Tutoring Approach:

I center sessions around my student's choices. I believe in student-led teaching. My focus is always on how I can make the student better. I allow my students to ask their questions and get their feedback first to encourage them to learn independently.
