Personal Description:

I am currently changing careers, so I am tutoring in the meantime. I have an extensive background in science, and I am excited to be a biology tutor. I have tutored students of all ages, from elementary school through college. Whether you are studying the basics of biology or preparing for an upcoming college biology test, I can help.

Tutoring Experience:

I am a licensed physician with numerous years of tutoring experience in addition to my academic background. I have a bachelor's degree in history and a Ph.D. in medicine. My work experience includes working for a full-service learning center where I created and taught high school lesson plans. During this time, I offered academic support for students from 8 to 20 years old.

Tutoring Approach:

I take a student-centered approach to tutoring. I tailor sessions to meet the specific needs of each student. I also discuss goals with my students and help them develop plans to meet their goals.
