Personal Description:

Hiking from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail gave me a lot of time to reflect and decide that I should use my talents to their fullest. I am a physics tutor here to help with anything from the basics to advanced concepts. I pride myself in being able to break down complex concepts and present them in a way that makes sense to the student.

Tutoring Experience:

I hold a bachelor's degree in astrophysics. I minored in computer science and physics. I am passionate about teaching. My teaching experience includes working as a teaching assistant for two semesters for an Introduction to Scientific Data Analysis and Computing class and for one semester as a learning assistant for Astronomy 2.

Tutoring Approach:

My goal is to maximize my student's learning in the time that I spend with them. I help my student's come to the correct answer instead of handing them the answers.
