Personal Description:

I am always looking for fresh opportunities to teach and learn! A teacher can leave a lasting impact on a student's life, and I hope to leave a positive impression as an English tutor. I would define my style as colorful, personal, accessible, and exciting. I am comfortable teaching a variety of subjects, including K-12 reading and writing, college English, and generic study skills that can be applied in a variety of subjects.

Tutoring Experience:

I have previously tutored students between the ages of 2 and 40, so I understand how to connect with all levels of learners. I have tutored a variety of topics, and my background as a Theatre Director has given me additional experience teaching in group settings.

Tutoring Approach:

I find that relating material to a student's personal life makes learning more engaging. For example, I might focus on the similarities between a character in a novel and my student to make them more interested in the book.
