Personal Description:

I have extensive experience tutoring and teaching students at the high school and university levels - including Ph.D. candidates, adult learners, and students with learning challenges. In addition to various senior management roles at CIBC, I taught for 7 years at Ryerson University.

Tutoring Experience:

Adding to the above, I’ve worked with many ESL learners solo and in group settings, with significant results. I typically am able to raise a student’s grade a full letter mark or more - assuming of course that the student is diligent.

Tutoring Approach:

While empathic to a student’s needs and learning style, I also challenge them to do their best. With a background in business, technology, project management, and the humanities - with notable expertise in English and critical thinking - I work flexibly with my clients to help them to achieve their goals.
