Personal Description:

Struggling with reading and writing can be a life-altering disability, and I have found that I have a special skill to help students get back on track. Children who struggle to read have a lot to offer if they receive the appropriate help, and I know a variety of approaches to provide it. If you're scared or frustrated because of your student's progress, let me help now!

Tutoring Experience:

I am a retired teacher who has 30 years of experience teaching Reading Recovery, Reading Intervention, Dyslexia, ESL, and students in grades 1, 3, 4, 5, and 7. I can help with the complete range of reading differences, making me a great English tutor for students who may be falling behind their peers.

Tutoring Approach:

I embrace a multisensory approach to reading education that stimulates multiple areas of a student's brain at the same time to improve retention. This isn't a job for me, it's my vocation.
