Personal Description:

If you or your child are having difficulty understanding concepts in math, English, computer science or economics, I would love to help! I'm a McMaster University student currently wrapping up my final year of my degree in Mathematics and Statistics. I possess both personal and professional tutoring experience in a variety of areas, and offer support with the following subjects:

- Mathematics up to the undergradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel, including calculus, statistics, financial and applied math
- Verbal and written English, including essay structure, proofreading, and critical analysis of literary works (ex. Shakespeare)
- Coding and computer science up to first-year university level involving Python, C or VBScript
- Macroeconomics and microeconomics up to the undergradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel
- General science gr. 10 and below

All my previous tutees were in Ontario, and I am familiar with the Ontario Elementary and Secondary School curriculums.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 2 years tutoring experience as an independent student tutor, including peer tutoring at McMaster University, as well as 8 months of professional experience operating as a mathematics tutor at the Learning Support Centre at Mohawk College.

Tutoring Approach:

I have tutored students with many different learning styles and educational backgrounds. As such, I am flexible when it comes to tutoring approach. If you/your child learn best in a more structured environment, I can facilitate this by providing accountability, evaluation throughout the tutoring period, and additional learning materials such as worksheets. However, other students prefer less structured and more relaxed environments to be fully comfortable. Since every student's needs are different, I am very open to thoroughly discussing your needs and expectations from our tutoring sessions before starting. I consider myself to be very friendly, so please don't hesitate to ask questions :)
