Personal Description:

I gained excellent content knowledge and study skills when I attended university, and I would like to share this with students as a Latin tutor. I have developed a number of mnemonic devices and other strategies to break down the language for students who may be having a hard time with it.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Political Science and the Classics, and then I went on to earn my Ph.D. in Classics. I have been a Latin teacher for more than 20 years. I am available to help students with all levels of Latin including high school students taking AP Latin.

Tutoring Approach:

When I first meet with a new student, I get to know their academic history in Latin and related subjects. I want to know what textbook they're using and how long they've been studying the language as well as what they are finding especially difficult. This helps me develop an individualized plan for each student.
