Personal Description:

My enthusiasm for learning about and engaging with other cultures is what drives me in my work as an ESL/ELL and English tutor. I work with students on subject areas ranging from phonics and reading, TOEFL test prep, high school and college English, to essay editing and writing and English grammar and syntax.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in Russian and Linguistics. My master's degree is in Teaching English as a Second Language. I have several years of experience teaching English and working as a tutor abroad, and I have also served as an ESL Program Coordinator.

Tutoring Approach:

As I tutor, I pride myself in my willingness to jump in with both feet. I see education as my calling, and when I work with student learners, I always give everything I have to the time we spend together. I keep the focus on the student in order to make sessions effective.
