Personal Description:

Hi there. My name is Janine and I have worked in the science industry for 8 years. My experience includes working in chemical, immunological and biological life science labs. I graduated from Durham College with a college degree in Biotechnology as a technologist. I have played piano for most of my life with Royal Conservatory background. I enjoy reading, puzzles and board games.

Tutoring Experience:

I have no tutoring experience on paper but have always led study groups. I have also always been a homework helper after class hours for most of my academic life. I also live with young adult step children who’s homework I help with currently.

Tutoring Approach:

Having a mother who was a teacher I would follow her steps into finding appropriate resources for the age/ experience of the student. I know there are many different ways individuals learn and I would cater to the style in which this student needs. Whether that be learning through online methods, hand gestures, art or repetition. I am extremely patient and able to approach different challenges with whatever approach is necessary.
