Personal Description:

I am passionate about connecting people with new information. As a teacher and tutor, I strive to make new information accessible to my students. I do this by forging a connection with my students in order to discover what their passions, motivations, and goals are. I strive to use this information to teach in a way that is relatable and enjoyable to my students. As a Japanese tutor, I can do more than just help students with their Japanese language learning but can also provide homework support and help them improve their study skills and organization.

Tutoring Experience:

I completed an associate's degree in Mathematics. I am able to provide Japanese language learning support to students who need it, whether they are just starting out with learning the language or they are advanced students with more advanced language learning needs. Whether you would like to improve your grammar or expand your vocabulary, I can help.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe students learn best when they are engaged with a subject or topic they are passionate about. It's the responsibility of teachers and mentors to find and use those passions as frames of reference when relating subjects to students. This enables students to see the knowledge being implemented in a way they can relate to and understand.
