Personal Description:

I am a patient instructor who believes in guiding students towards the answer, rather than handing it to them. I enjoy English tutoring, particularly concepts like grammar and literature. I can lead students through study sessions to help them work on their college application essays, as well as offer support throughout their coursework.

Tutoring Experience:

In high school, I was in Honors and Advanced English courses every year. I received 5's in both classes. In addition, I took the SAT with Writing and earned a perfect score on my essay. I earned my bachelor's degree in Music and Psychology. During my undergraduate years, I served as a peer editor for classmates to help them raise their paper scores.

Tutoring Approach:

The first step I take with new students is to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses. A student's strengths can help me to determine the best way to approach the material they find challenging. Through regular practice and repetition, I can help students gain a stronger working knowledge of play analysis, comparative literature, and other topics.
